Hi everyone! I’m Vanessa. I’ve been creating all things beautiful since 2019. I have loved hair since I can remember!

I love learning everything that this industry has to offer to make everyone look and feel their greatest. I appreciate it nowadays even more as I am a mother of two and let me just say, I also really look forward to my mommy makeovers! I am an assistant and junior stylist applying g roots for stylists and assisting in shampoos and blow outs. I am 3x certified in Tooth Gems. I am 3x certified in Brow Laminations. Since I was 14 years old my friends would ask me to do their hair. I would come to school with stripes of green and blue, all over yellow, what we now call vivids, braids, purple, blonde. My dad’s friend was a stylist at Sally Hershberger at John Frieda’s and he would come over for dinner every Monday. We called it Teddy night. He saw talent in me and suggested I do hair since I also love anything creative. It’s now I been 22 years licensed and practicing. I’ve had Neighborhood for 12.5 years. Wow. I’ve trained under some of the best in all the techniques spanning 3 years before I hit the salon floor beginning my 21 year career doing hair.

I was raised in a creative background on both sides of my family. I do think it helps me in doing hair. I specialize in wash and wear, but I do a lot of perms, highlights, ALL OF IT!!! I can do that updo. I try to fit your look to suite you and your lifestyle. How much time do you want to put into it, let’s consult, it’s most important.

Hello, nice to meet you. I’m Morgan, originally from the Bay Area. I love LA and it’s been my home for the past 8 years. I’ve been with neighborhood salon for 5 years and licensed for 10+. My passion for hair extends beyond salon work. I’ve been working in film and tv as well as salon for the last 4 years and member of IATSE. When it comes to salon work I love barbering and worked in a barbershop 3 years building my short hair technique and skill. I excel in clipper cuts, long, layered cuts, trendy cuts, keeping up with all current looks. Color is something I believe truly compliments an exceptional haircut. Bleach, vivids, natural balayage, painted colors, really all color I feel comfortable with. I’m a yoga enthusiast, I design/sew clothing, and I hang out with my dog Gus…a lot. I can’t wait to create your entire look with you!

Originally from Miami, with a background in performance art in the South Beach nightlife, I developed a passion for designing and creating visual characters. And began using my own face as my canvas in a series of self-portraits that launched my career in makeup.

I went on to work for MAC Cosmetics, and have spent years honing my skills... and yes, I am a bit of a perfectionist!

Currently a freelance artist for print, music videos, commercials, PR, and special events;

And my award winning company Absolutely Beautiful Brides has brought smiles to over 750 brides.

In my free time I am a passionate animal rescuer and aspire to live in a cruelty-free world, so the products I choose are bunny-approved.
